5.  Zero acoustic time 

It refers to the acoustic time delay of ultrasound equipment and 

transmitting and receiving the transducer system. It can be input 
manually. Pressing Zero button to obtain the zero acoustic time 
automatically by the zero set function. (Please refer to Section 3.6 for 
details). 

 

7.3  Start Test 

7.3.1   Start sampling 

 Arrange one measuring line non-crack-across cracks and 

several crack-across measuring lines at the object to be tested and 
arrange the test points (the test points on across crack measuring lines 
must be arranged symmetrically at both sides of the crack) at each 
measuring line.   

 Use the signal line to link two planar transducers with the 

transmitting and receiving channels of the instrument respectively 
and couple the transducer at the two test points closest to the 
measuring non-crack-across line on the object to be tested (the inner 
edge of the transducer tangents the test point), and then press the
