uncompacted area and cavitations

F1.3.1   Preparation before test 

1.  Division of labor 

Divide the testers at first, one person takes charge of general 
instrument operation and on-site record, one person for placing 
transmitting transducer and one person for receiving transducer. 

2.  On-site data and information collection 

1) Project name and design, construction, and entrusting units 

names. 

2) Test purpose and requirements; 
3)  Type and specification of concrete raw material; 
4) Template type, concrete forming date and pouring and 

curing conditions; 

5) Structural member dimension, reinforcement construction 

drawing or reinforcement concealment drawing;   

6) Appearance quality and problem of structural member. 

3.  Position(test position) selection for defect test 

Determine the position for defect test (called “test position” for 
short) according to test requirements and operation conditions. 
When test uncompacted areas and cavitations, the tested position
