F1.2.2.1 Measurement and calculation of rebound
value
1) The rebound test shall be firstly conducted in the test area
followed by the ultrasonic test.
2) The axis of rebound apparatus should be perpendicular to the
concrete test area.
3) The horizontal testing should be firstly conducted at side of
the concrete casting direction. If the side of concrete casting
direction does not meet the horizontal test conditions, the
non-horizontal test may be conducted or test the concrete
casting top or bottom surface.
4)When the rebound values are measured, both ultrasonic
transmitting and receiving surface in the test area of the
object have 8 rebound points respectively (as shown in
Figure F1.11); when the single-sided flat test is conducted,
there are 16 rebound points between the ultrasonic
transmitting and receiving points.
The rebound value of
each test point shall be accurate to 1.
