Installation
WARNING: Allow only qualified personnel to perform the following tasks. Follow the
safety instructions in this document and all other related documentation.
NOTE: The feed center is typically shipped by truck or in a container. All internal air and
electrical connections are made at the factory. Refer to your system drawings for final
connections.
Unpacking
Upon receipt, unpack the feed center carefully to avoid damage. Report any damage
immediately to the shipper and to your Nordson representative. Save packing materials
for possible later use, or dispose of properly according to local regulations.
Preparing for Installation
Position the feed center on a level floor according to the system layout drawing supplied
by Nordson application engineering.
To ensure easy maintenance, provide a clear operating and access zone of at least 1m (3
ft) wherever possible.
