20.2 Level measurement Pressure
The CSM-V1D0 sensor generally operates with a hydrostatic level measurement.
The piezoresistive pressure sensor operates based on the relative pressure principle. The
pressure of the static water column above the sensor is direct proportional to the filling level.
Fluctuations in atmospheric pressure are compensated by a small air tube, which is integrat-
ed into the sensor cable.
The pressure sensor is adjusted by entering a manually determined reference value at the
initial start-up.
