Receiving New Voice Mail
When you receive new Voice Mail (see“New Message Indicators” on page 44
for more information), Keypad Lock will be temporarily suspended. You may
perform the following:
NOTE: If you have disabled Voice Mail Notification,

You will not receive the “New Voice Mail Waiting” message.
Receiving New Message Mail
When you receive new Message Mail (see“Notification of New Messages” on
page 57 for more information), Keypad Lock will be temporarily suspended.
You may perform the following:
NOTE: If you have disabled the Message Mail Notification feature, only
the
C
icon will display. You will not receive the Read Now/
Later options.
Receiving New Net Mail
When you receive new Net Mail (see“Receiving and Viewing Two-Way
Messages” on page 118 for more information), Keypad Lock will be
temporarily suspended. You may perform the following:
When New Voice Mail Waiting displays, press

under “Exit” to
return to Phone Ready and reactivate Keypad Lock. Or,
Press
o
under “Dial” to access Voice Mail service. Once you have
finished, press

to exit Voice Mail, return to Phone Ready and
reactivate Keypad Lock.
Press

under “Later” to return to Phone Ready and reactivate
Keypad Lock. Or,
Press
o
under “Now”. Press
o
under “Read”. Press
o

“Save” or “Erase”. Once you have finished, press

under “Exit” to
return to Phone Ready and reactivate Keypad Lock.
