NOTE: If you have subscribed to Two-Way Messaging as a stand-alone
feature, when you access Net mode, your home page will con-
sist of the options “Two-Way Msg” and “Address Book.” To
access Two-Way Messaging, begin with Step 2 below.
Address the Message
From the “Send To” screen, you have the option to send a
message to a new address, an address you have
previously used or an address that you have previously
saved in your Address Book.
New Address

From the Net mode home page, scroll to highlight “MyApplications”
and press

under “OK”.

Scroll to highlight “Two-Way Msg” and press
o
under “OK” or type
the number shown to the left of “Two-Way Msg” to automatically jump
to the application.

Scroll to highlight “Send Message” and press

under “OK”.

From the “Send To” screen, scroll to highlight “New Address” and
press

under “OK”.

Enter the Nextel phone number or the email
address of the intended recipient.
• To enter numbers, ensure you are in “NUM”
mode by pressing the right

until the text
entry mode reads “NUM”.
• To enter an email address, you will need to
toggle between “alpha” or “word” mode and
“SYM” mode. (For more information,
see “Entering Email Addresses” on page 85.)
