Undeliverable Messages
You will be notified of messages that are undeliverable due to an invalid email
address or an invalid Nextel phone number. For an invalid email address, an
undeliverable message notification will be sent to your phone as a new incoming
message reading: “From System Administrator, Subject: Undeliverable.” An
invalid Nextel phone number will generate the following notice prior to sending
the message: “Message Not Sent”.
Receiving and Viewing Two-Way Messages
Two-Way Messages appear as Net Mail on your phone. Your Inbox will store
messages for 14 days. After 14 days, messages are automatically deleted from
the system. Your Two-Way Messaging Inbox will accept your messages even if
you are unavailable, if your phone is turned off, or if you are out of the coverage
area. Your messages will be delivered once your phone is turned back on or you
return to coverage. Two-Way Messaging will attempt continuous delivery of
messages until successful for up to 7 days. If, after 7 days, your message is
undeliverable, the message will be deleted from the system.
