If a PSTN number is entered, it must include any
required preliminary digits, such as a 1 for long-
distance calling.
IMPORTANT: If a Net2Phone account number is entered for
an FXO port in the Account Configuration Table (see
Account Configuration with Multiple DID/Account Balance
Announcement on page 26 in this Guide), the account
entered acts as a “default” account for the port. Charges
incurred by callers through that port automatically accrue
to this account.
If Request Account and PIN or Request Password Account and
PIN is then selected, and a caller enters an incorrect or invalid
account number, the port will substitute this “default” account
number for the invalid one and the call will proceed using the
default account.
Unless this arrangement suits your needs, you must clear any
account number that may have been entered for an FXO port in the
Account Configuration Table when Request Account and PIN or
Request Password Account and PIN are selected.
