2-22 Setting System Parameters
THE EXIT MENU
Selecting “Exit” from the menu bar displays the following
exit options:
■
Save Changes & Exit
■
Discard Changes & Exit
■
Get Default Values
■
Load Previous Values
■
Save Changes.
The following sections describe each of the options on the
Exit Menu. Note that
Esc
does not exit this menu. You
must select one of the items from the menu or menu bar
to exit.
Save Changes & Exit
After making your selections on the Setup menus, always
select Save Changes to Non-Volatile RAM (NVRAM) to
make them operative.
Unlike standard RAM memory, NVRAM is sustained by an
onboard battery and stays on after you turn your system off.
After you save your selections, the program displays this
message:
Values have been saved to CMOS!
Press <space> to continue
If you attempt to exit without saving, the program asks if
you want to save before exiting.
