Adding Options 5-55
The following figure shows a typical three-connector IDE
cable. If your IDE cable is not keyed with a connector tab,
align the colored edge of the cable with the pin 1 side of the
drive connector and system board IDE port connector.
Pin 1 on the system board IDE connectors is on the
connector end closest to the rear of the system.

your system:
