Press the eject/retract button again. The reader
automatically pulls in the tray.
To remove a CD, simply press the eject/retract button and
remove the CD when the tray slides out. Press the
eject/retract button again to close the reader door.

Fax/Modem Functions (fax/modem models)
The fax/modem in fax/modem models is a high-speed
14,400 bps fax/modem. You can use the fax/modem both as
a send-and-receive fax device and as a data modem.
Your system comes with Delrina™ WinFax LITE™
installed and ready to use. WinFax LITE is an easy-to-use
fax software package. See Chapter 3 in the Fax/Modem
User’s Guide that comes with your system for detailed
information about using WinFax.
For data communications, you can use Windows Terminal
(see the Microsoft Windows documentation that comes with
your system). Windows Terminal lets you connect your
computer to other computers and exchange data.
With Terminal, you can hook up to online information
services and online bulletin boards. To use the NEC
Bulletin Board Service (BBS), see “NEC Bulletin Board
Service” in Chapter 2 of this guide.
To use the NEC FastFacts™ automated electronic
information service, see “NEC FastFacts” later in this
chapter. With FastFacts, you can obtain the latest technical
information about your system.
