POINT
Referring to the following manual, observe the proper mounting procedures.
QCPU User's Manual (Hardware Design, Maintenance and Inspection)
• The case of the C Controller module is made of resin.
Do not drop or apply strong shock to it.
• Do not remove the printed-circuit board of the module from the case.
Doing so may cause failure.
• Tighten screws such as a module fixing screw within the following ranges.
3
* 1 The module can be easily secured to a base unit by the hook on the module top. However, it is
recommended to fix it with the module fixing screw in a place of frequent vibrations.
• Use the dummy CompactFlash card installed before shipping if necessary.
Do not insert a dummy CompactFlash card with no "A" printed (Figure 6.1) into a
module whose serial number (first four digits) is "1008" or later. Doing so may
make the card removal difficult, causing damage to the CompactFlash card slot.
A dummy CompactFlash card with "A" (Figure 6.2) is pre-installed in a module
whose serial number (first four digits) is "1008" or later.
