5.4.1

Message communication

The C Controller module can transfer messages (message transmission/reception) by a 
user program.
Messages can be transferred among the following modules via a CC-Link IE controller 
network module.
In a multiple CPU system configuration, any access via a CC-Link IE controller network 
module controlled by another CPU is not allowed.

 • C Controller module on another station
 • Programmable controller CPU

(1) Message transmission

Messages are sent with the user program in which communication functions for 
message transmission are used.

(2) Message reception

Messages are received with the user program in which communication functions for 
message reception are used.
The C Controller module has the internal buffer for message reception.
The data stored in this internal receive buffer are read out in message reception.
