A MELIPC RESET or WIN RESET cannot be run when a remote operation was performed by MI Configurator 
that is installed on the Windows part of this product.

Enabling remote RESET

Before performing a remote RESET, enable remote RESET in MI Configurator.

Considerations before executing a remote RESET

Set the operating status of this product to the STOP status.
Before a remote RESET, close or exit user applications of the Windows part and VxWorks part. If a remote RESET is 
performed during operation of a user program, the user program or files may be corrupted.

■

Considerations after executing a remote RESET

Communication between external devices and this product are cut. Connect them again.

■

Remote RESET at error stop

If this product is stopped due to an error when a remote RESET is performed, this product starts in the operating status 
configured by the switch.

■

System reset

A system reset can also be performed by the MELIPC RESET/WIN RESET switch. (
