1st Image Transfer Roller Pressure/Retraction Mechanism

• The Sliding Plates press the 1st Image Transfer Rollers against, and retract them from, 

the corresponding PC Drums.

• The drive for these operations comes from a motor dedicated to the purpose.
• The retracted position is detected by the 1st Image Transfer Retraction Position Sensor.
• The pressure position is detected by counting a given number of motor pulses of the 1st 

Image Transfer Pressure/Retraction Motor. It is the position at which the Transfer Belt 
contacts the PC Drum.
