Length unit
The user can select from among mm, µm, inch, or mil
depending on the measuring system set.
Border cut
left/right
The parameters define the left and right border which
is mathematically subtracted from the detected product
width.
Mode
Defines the number of tracks for the view length trend.
After traversing the virtual tracks are calculated here.
Track width
This array defines the width of a track.
The positions of tracks can be defined via the array
Position specifications
as
follows:
Relative to
target start
The positions are stated relatively to the first edge of the
product. The specification is made in percent whereas
the product width corresponds to 100 % .
Absolute to
traversal start
The positions are stated absolutely to the parking posi-
tion of the traversal unit.
Absolute to
target mid
The positions are stated absolutely to the detected prod-
uct mid.
Absolute to
target edge
The positions are stated absolutely to the product edges
whereas the middle track is defined to product mid.
Number of coexistent
products
The parameter defines the number of products which are
to be measured at the same time.
Tolerance check
Here you can set which values are additionally set to
the tolerance should be checked. The mean value, the
respective thickness values of the tracks and the
fixed track value can be selected.
With the value
limits for partial tolerance
you can define how many measured values in [%] of the
complete crossprofile must be outside the tolerance for
the tolerance check.
The LLT area contains settings for the operating mode of the sensors. For example, the
exposure time in milliseconds, the type of reflections recognized and the laser output are
created there. These values significantly influence the number of valid points and can be
changed to predefined values for the thickConSys users; these values are set using the
drop-down box labeled Material.
5.7
View
Some views can be adjusted user-specifically in the tab
View
. A red cursor marks the
position of the measurement carriage in the views of the
Cross profile
. If this is not
to be displayed, you can deactivate the button
Current width position
. Three
resp. five blue cursor lines mark the positions of the virtual 3/5 track measurement in the
view
Cross profile
. If they are to be visualized, the array
Track positions
has to
be activated.
The
Distance
and
Intensity
checkboxes in the
Show sensor raw data
group
enables to select the sensor values to be displayed in the
. Use the
Cross profile option
: show difference in the Views group to define
whether the difference from the target profile should be visualized in the cross profile
view. Use the two two dropdown boxes to define which measured value or which profile
should be used for the combined length trend and the pseudocolor view.
Data that belong together are divided into groups and can be expanded/compressed
individually via an arrow.
