Cable Carrier

The cable carrier (1)

, is attached to the base frame and supplies power to

all the components that are on the base frame. Conventional cable carriers develop
a so-called „polygon effect“ during movement, because individual chain connections
are kinked. In a precise measuring system, this effect negatively affects the measured
result. For this reason, a special cable carrier which shows no polygon effect is used. For
this reason, a special cable drag that does not have a polygon effect is used. It permits
optimum smooth running during travel – which ensures precise measurements.
