W arning!
Do not adjust the d riv e r’s seat
w hile driving. A djusting the
seat w hile driving could cause
the driver to lose control of the
vehicle.
Never ride in a m oving vehicle
with the seat back reclined.
Sitting in an excessively re
clined position can be d an g er
ous. You could slide under the
seat belt in a collision. If you
slide u nder it, the belt would
apply force at the abdom en or
neck. T hat could cause serious
or even fatal injuries. The seat
back and seat belts provide the
best restraint w hen the w earer
is in an upright position and
belts are properly positioned
on the body.
N ever place hands u nder seat
or near any m oving parts w hile
a seat is being adjusted.

Pow er Seat
The slide sw itches are located in
each front door.
Turn electronic key in steering lock
to position 1 or 2 (with a front door
open, the pow er seats can also be
operated with the electronic key
rem oved or in steering lock
position 0).

Head restraint
A djust head restraint to support
the back of the head a pproxi
m ately at e ar level. The head
restraint angle can also be
adjusted m anually.
Note:
Your car is equipped with power
head restraints, do not try to
raise or low er them m anually.

W hen leaving the vehicle
alw ays rem ove the electronic
key from the steering lock.
The pow er seats can also be
operated w ith the d riv e r’s or
p assen g er d o o r open. Do not
leave children u n attended in
the veh icle or w ith access to
an unlocked vehicle. U n su p er
vised use of veh icle equipm ent
m ay cause serio u s personal
injury.
