Replacing Bulb:
To prevent a possible electrical
short circuit, sw itch off lam p prior to
replacing a bulb.
When replacing bulbs, install only
12 volt bulbs with the specified watt
rating.
W hen replacing halogen bulbs do
not touch glass portion of bulb with
bare hands. Use plain paper or a
clean cloth.
W arning!
Halogen lam ps contain
pressurized gas. A bulb can
explode if you:
• touch or m ove it w hen hot,
• drop the bulb,
• scratch the bulb.
W ear eye and hand protection.
Bulb for Low Beam H7 (55 W)
Bulb for Fog Lam p H1 (55 W)
O pen hood.
Depress latch (2) and rem ove
cover (1).
Pull of electrical connector (8)
or (9).
U nhook clam ping ring and rem ove
bulb.
Insert new bulb (seating properly in
cutouts of bulb socket), and m ount
clam ping ring. R einstall and push
electrical connector on securely.
Reinstall bottom end of cover (1)
and push against top end of cover
until properly seated.
C heck lam p for proper operation.
Xenon (optional)
Bulb for Low Beam
W arning!
B ecause of high voltage in
Xenon lam ps, it is dangerous
to replace the bulb or repair
the lam p and its com ponents.
W e recom m end that you have
such w ork done by a qualified
technician.
B ulb fo r High Beam H1 (55 W)
O pen hood.
M ove retaining clam ps (4) aside
and rem ove co ver (3). Pull off
e lectrical co nn ecto r (10). U nhook
clam ping ring and pull out bulb
to ge th er with clam ping ring.
R em ove bulb.
Insert new bulb (seating properly in
cutouts of bulb socket), m ount
clam ping ring. R einstall and push
e lectrical co nn ecto r on securely.
Reinstall co ver and fasten with
retaining clam p (4).
