R eplacing W ip er B lade Insert
For safety reasons, rem ove
electronic key from steering lock
before replacing the w ip e r blade,
otherw ise the m otor can suddenly
turn on and cause injury.
Notes:
Do not open engine hood with
w iper arm folded forw ard.
Do not allow the w ipe r arm to
contact the w indshield glass
w ithout a w ipe r blade inserted. The
glass m ay be scratched o r broken.
Make certain that the w iper blade
is properly installed. An im properly
installed blade m ay cause
w indshield dam age.
Removal:
Fold w iper arm forward. Press
safety tab down (1), push w iper
blade dow nw ard (2) and rem ove.
Place w iper blade on firm support.
Slide (direction of arrow) the w iper
blade insert out of the retainer
claws.
Installation:
Slide (direction of arrow ) w iper
blade insert into retainer claw s until
tabs are engaged.
Insert w ipe r blade betw een tabs (3)
on the w ipe r arm , and slide into
end of w iper arm . Press safety tab
upward until it locks in place.
