Once the Local Call BW has been used up, due to the maximum number of de-hairpinned calls being
reached, further hairpinned calls will retain their hairpinned status when trying to access PBX features.
The phone will display 'PBX Feat Loss', the call will act like a POTs call and will not provide any PBX
features.

For basic RVP_Over_IP Configuration please refer to “RVP Over IP Configuration on page’ 38.
2:1 Configuration - Computing the Required Bandwidth
In this configuration, the bandwidth in the system must be shared by both EXTender 7000 units. You can still
use the MCK Bandwidth Calculator to compute the bandwidths required to connect the extended phones to
connect and to support Local Dialing.
The following configuration steps need to be done for
both
EXTender 7000 units. The steps are nearly iden-
tical for both units (exception: setting the Gateway Port Access parameter), so the configuration instructions
for the first remote unit will only be shown. When configuration is unique to the second remote unit it will be
clearly indicated in the instructions.
This procedure has to be completed for BOTH EXTender 7000s!
Bandwidth Requirements for the EXTended Telephones
In this 2 to 1 configuration, the Extender Bandwidth allocated to the PBXgateway II must equal the Extender
Bandwidth used by both EXTender 7000 units.
