Dedicated Service to the DS0 Channel
Assigning DS0 channels:
1.
Use the arrow keys to access the DS0_Default Channel Setup menu, as shown below:

parameter. This parameter enables you to select the services you wish to use
to connect to the Central Office (CO). The value of 1 assigns a Dedicated T1 Service to all DS0 chan-
nels.

Set the
Connect Type

RVP_Direct1
.
RVP_Direct - Leased T1 Parameters
1.
Access the RVP_Direct Menu using the following path:

Configuration->Connect->RVP_Direct
The following menu appears:

Set the Primary Interface to T1_Port1_Leased.

The EXTender Bandwidth does not have to be set. RVP_Leased T1 uses the number of RVP_Direct1
DS0 channels assigned in Channel Setup as the 'Extender Bandwidth.

Press the

key to accept changes and go back to the Configuration Menu

T1/PRI Port_1 should now be sync up with the Network attached and the LED on the T1/PRI port should be
steady Green. This is assuming the Gateway has also completed the configuration setup; and with a steady
Green LED on the T1/PRI Port_1. The User can now connect phones by pressing '1.
