for Local Dialing
•
To support Local Dialing, the EXTender 7000 unit uses UDP ports 16384 to 16640. The port numbers
start at 16384 and increment by 1 to the total number of ports used. For example, if 3 telephones need
to make local calls, then ports 16384, 16385, and 16386 would need to be opened.
To ensure access to these ports, you should open all the ports in the range (ports 16384 to 16640).
•
The PBXgateway II unit uses port 2698 TCP/UDP.

Connect Parameters - RVP_Over_IP
The EXTender 7000 utilizes a LAN connection to provide remote user connectivity. This means that the LAN
port is plugged into an IP network and is assigned an IP address. The LAN port labeled AUX LAN is used
for remote administration purposes only (i.e. a Telnet session). The IP Destination (the IP address of the
PBXgateway II) must be entered within the MI of the EXTender.
