TCPDUMP
In order to closely monitor the network traffic, you can use the "TCPDUMP” com-
mand. Some examples of the use of this command are:
•
-i eth0 not port 80
Displays all TCP/IP connections to the (-i) LAN (eth0) interface, except (not)
those using Port 80 (port 80) when incoming or outgoing.
•
-i eth1 port 23
Displays all TCP/IP connections to the (-i) WAN (eth1) interface using Port 23
(port 23) when incoming or outgoing.
•
-vvv -i eth1
Displays all traffic in verbose mode, Level3 (-vvv) on the (-i) WAN (eth1) inter-
face.

Port Check
You can use this function to check the status of a port (open / not open) in connection
with an Internet or IP address.
