Security settings
The mbNET has a built-in firewall to protect against strange or/and unauthorized access/connection attempts.
Incoming and outgoing data traffic is monitored, logged and enabled/disabled via this firewall.
The following submenus are listed under the Security settings menu:

Description
Firewall General
Here you can specify the basic firewall settings.
WAN - LAN
This setting is used to regulate the incoming traffic.
LAN - WAN
This setting is used to regulate the outgoing traffic.
Forwarding
Here you can forward requests from specific IP addresses and ports to redefined IP
addresses and ports.
NAT
"SimpleNAT” allows you to grant access to an IP address from the LAN Power Plant
1:1 in the WAN Ethernet network.
Using the "1:1 NAT" Is it possible to connect two networks that are in the same ad-
dress range with each other.
Click the Edit icon
, to edit a function or an element.
Click the Add icon
to add an item.
Click the Delete icon
to delete/remove an item.
