IO-Manager

The I / O Manager integrated in the router fulfills the following tasks:

•

Display of PLC variables

•

Read PLC variables and, within a preset interval, save them on a USB stick (logging).

•

Store the logged archives (GZIP) on an external FTP server.

The following variable types can currently be read from an S7 controller via RFC1006:

•

Limits:

Max. four connections to the controllers

Max. 256 tags points (variables) per connection

Max. size of a tag = 32 bits (DWORD)

Communication between the mbNET and the PLC takes place via the Ethernet interface or the MPI/PROFIBUS
interface of the router.
