7.6_SETTING UP THE MACHINE FOR WORK
Before starting work make all the necessary adjustments to prepare the machine for your specific work
requirements.
The round baler can be fitted with three types of tying devices:
single TWINE binder,
double TWINE binder,
NET
wrapper
The TWINE binder and NET wrapper can be both fitted on the machine.
7.6.1_LOADING AND OPERATION OF THE SINGLE TWINE BINDER
For the twine binder to work well we advise using propylene twine, with count from 500 to 750, or a natural
twine from 200 to 400 m/Kg.
The binder of your round baler can also work with other types of twine however.
CAUTION!
The loading and threading of the twine for binding must be done with the
engine and electronic control unit off.
CAUTION!
Beware of the blade of the binder when doing work in its
proximity.
Before working in the area of the binders, insert the safety lock
(stop) to prevent crushing or amputation of the hands.
Lift the cover and places the spools of twine.
Pass the twine through the twine braking device located on the
left side under the spool holder and wrap it around the large
pulley one and a half times, then insert it between the knurled
draw rollers and let it dangle about 15÷20cm from the last twine
guide ring.
