Removing an option card
You need a number 2 Phillips screwdriver to remove an option card.

Make sure the printer is turned off and the power cord is unplugged.

Complete the steps for
Removing the system board access cover
if it is still installed.

Option cards are easily damaged by static electricity. Touch something metal such
as the printer frame before you touch an option card.

Remove the screws securing the option card to the cover.
