7.4.6.1 Export <Print History Protocol>
The displayed information can be exported to an external memory device like an USB-
stick or a network storage device. There is always the complete information about each
print job exported.
Important
In order to store the data on a network storage device the network path settings
have to be configured. Please see chapter
for details.
The socket for the USB stick is located on the reverse side of the printer. Please
see chapter
for details.
Proceeding:
Configure the
<Network ID>
of the printer in the
<Basic settings> (1)
and/or
Plug an USB-Stick into the USB-socket of the device

Press the button
<Export>
(3)
.
If there is a network ID configured and the network connection is activated a
confirmation prompt will pop up asking whether the data shall be saved to the network
storage device

. If this message is confirmed the information will be stored on the
network storage device. If the message is not confirmed it is checked whether an USB
stick is availabe. If no USB stick is avaibe a respective message box pops up

. With
an USB stick inserted the information is stored to the USB stick.
When saving is finished a confirmation
messages pop up

The message has to be confirmed with the
<OK>
button

The files are saved in a folder named
PRINTER_Log
. If this folder does not already
exist it will be created by the
<Export>
function.
Information
The number of print events that are recorded is limited. The maximum
number of recorded events is 1000. The memory works as a circular buffer.
When the maximum of entries allowed is reached the oldest entries will be
overwritten. Therefor it is recommended exporting the on a regular basis in
order to have a backup. It is possible to activate a warning message. With
the warning activated a message box advising the user to export the
History Protocol>
before the oldest entries are overwritten. Please see
