TMECON3 is a special function register (SFR) to control the Timer E.
Rewrite TMECON3 while the Timer E is stopped (TESTAT, TETGEN and TERUN of TMECON1 are “0”).

The TESTSS, TESTS2, TESTS1, and TESTS0 bits are used to select the external input start/stop pins of the timer E. To
use these bits to select the Port A and B pins, use the Port A and B mode registers 0,1 (PnMOD0, PnMOD1) to select the
primary function and use the Port A and B direction (PnDIR) to set the input mode for the appropriate pins.
