METHOD FOR REPLACING GREASE PAIL

CAUTION
• Do not use a pail if it has a dent or is deformed.
Otherwise, the follower plate (2) does not lower, or grease cannot be sucked due to air pocket.
• Wipe off the grease which is leaked or splashed after the grease pail is used.
Replace the grease pail (1) if it is out of grease.
Check that no grease is leaked between the grease pail (1) and
the follower plate (2).
NOTICE
Do not remove the follower plate (2), otherwise the pump
(3) cannot perform sucking even when there is sufficient
amount of grease in the grease pail.
Use the grease corresponding to the temperature by referring to the following table.

*1: Grease for cold district (NLGI No. 0) can be used in warm district without any problem, although the grease
may ooze from work equipment pin end.
METHOD FOR BLEEDING AIR FROM GREASE LINE

WARNING
The service grease nipple which is installed to injector does not have the counterflow prevention func-
tion. If the cap is left open, highly pressurized grease will spurt out when the grease pump operates,
and it is dangerous.
Be sure to tighten the cap.
Bleed air from the grease line if a lot of air is mixed into the grease line if the grease pump is actuated when it is
empty, or the grease piping is disassembled and assembled.
