Does not swing. Swing lock switch is still applied Turn off the swing lock switch.
Swing brake system error Check, adjust. (*)
When it is necessary to move the ma-
chine to a safe place, turn the swing
parking brake cancel switch to ON
position temporarily.

Engine oil pressure monitor lights up. Oil in oil pan is insufficient. Make the oil level to the specified lev-
el by referring to CHECKS BEFORE
STARTING.
Oil filter cartridge is clogged. Replace the cartridge by referring to
EVERY 500 HOURS MAINTE-
NANCE.
Oil is leaked due to improper connec-
tion or breakage of oil pipe or pipe
joint. Check, repair. (*)
Wiring to the sensor is disconnected
or broken. Repair the wiring, or connect it. (*)
Sensor is faulty, monitor is faulty. Replace. (*)
Steam spurts out from top of radiator
(pressure valve).
Radiator coolant level caution lamp
lights up.
Engine coolant temperature gauge is
in red range.
Engine coolant temperature monitor
lights up. Engine coolant is insufficient, coolant
leaks. Check, add coolant, repair by refer-
ring to CHECKS BEFORE START-
ING.
Dirt or scale is accumulated in cool-
ing system. Change coolant, flush inside of cool-
ing system by referring to WHEN RE-
QUIRED.
Coolant level sensor is defective. Replace the coolant temperature sen-
sor. (*)
Radiator fin is clogged, fins are fallen. Clean or repair by referring to EVERY
500 HOURS MAINTENANCE.
Defective coolant temperature gauge Replace coolant temperature gauge.

Thermostat has a trouble. Replace the thermostat. (*)
Sealing of thermostat is improper. Replace thermostat seal. (*)
Radiator filler cap is loose (in high al-
titude operation). Tighten the cap or replace packing.
Wiring to the sensor is disconnected
or broken. Repair the wiring, or connect it. (*)
