AUTO-GREASING CAUTION LAMP
When the pressurization of the grease line has a trouble, the
auto-greasing caution lamp is lit in red.
INJECTOR ACTION INDICATOR
The indicator pin moves up and down according to the pres-
sure and depressure in the grease line, and through this move-
ment, it notifies that the grease is discharged to the greasing
points. If the grease cannot be discharged correctly, the indica-
tor pin does not move even after the pressure and depressure
are given to the line. So you can find there is a trouble.
State Main causes Remedy
Auto-greasing caution lamp lights

Operation is performed with empty
grease pail.
• Grease pail becomes deformed, fol-
lower plate does not lower, and air is
sucked in. • Replace grease pail.

Grease leaks from greasing piping
(piping from pump through injector).

Check and repair.

Grease leaks from injector.

Improper pressurization of pump

Replace.
Injector operates but indicator
does not operate. • Injector has a trouble.
•
NLGI No. 2 or equivalent grease is
used in a cold district.
• Replace.
•
Replace grease with NLGI
No. 0 or equivalent grease
for cold district.
If any problem caused by other causes than shown in the table is found, ask your Komatsu distributor for repair.
