6.8.7  Housekeeping 

Screens to start the housekeeping process and to manage the housekeeping parameters. 
 

6.8.7.1 

Start housekeeping 

Screen to show the current resource usage and for starting the housekeeping process. 
Housekeeping runs automatically. The amount of data to be deleted is defined in a set of parameters which 
can be entered at the GUI of the KeContact M10. In addition to the automatic housekeeping it is also possi-
ble to start housekeeping manually. 
 

 

The disk space of the CF card is very limited. It is important to configure the housekeeping pa-
rameters depending on the expected traffic of your system. The housekeeping process runs once 
a day and deletes log files or archives according to your configuration. In the first time it is rec-
ommended to check the Free disk space periodically and if necessary, change the parameters 
accordingly.
