LL - Tune Parameters
Determines correct phasing of A/B encoder channels and direction of rota-
tion. Refer to Section 5.10.3 for procedure.
Learns the system inertia and activates the feed forward torque control
(FFTC). Method should be performed with a balanced car. Learning the
system inertia can provide better dynamic performance and a better ride
quality with little or no adjustment of the speed control gains. Refer to Sec-
tion 5.12.1 for procedure.
The Overspeed Test allows the drive to run at a speed higher than the pro-
grammed LS02 High Speed for a single run, in order to perform overspeed
or governor tests. The speed at which the Overspeed Test will operate is
set in LL16. The Overspeed test can also be used as the contract speed
buffer test with digital or binary speed control.

Start with Scaling
This setting will automatically scale the
command speed according to the ratio
between LS02 High Speed and LL16
Overspeed Test Speed.
1
Start without Scaling With this setting, if the speed pr
ofile is
generated externally using US.04 Con-
trol Types Analog (2,3) or Serial (4,5),
the command speed sent from the con-
troller will not be scaled. Therefore, the
command speed must be increased to
match the LL16 Overspeed Test Speed.
If using US04 Control Types Digital (0),
Binary (1) or Serial Binary (6), the drive
will still scale the command speed ac-
cording to the ratio between LS02 High
Speed and LL16 Overspeed Test Speed.
2
For proper operation of the Overspeed Test, the LL16 Overspeed Test
Speed MUST be entered. In addition, the LS02 High Speed and US06
Contract Speed MUST be set correctly.
