Operating the Reader Using the ReaderStart Software
14.11.2 Installing an App
This chapter describes installing an app shown on the example of
AccessManager
. You can install all other
apps following the instructions described below.
✔ The
ReaderStart
software is installed.
✔ The reader is connected to a PC.

1. Go to
https://www.kathrein-solutions.com/products/software/interface-software/accessmanager

2. Downoad the app.
3. If the downloaded app is in the zip format, extr
act a .tar file. Make sur
e not to extr
act the .tar file!
4. Start the
ReaderStart
software.
5. Go to the
AppManager
tab.
6. Click on
Install app

A pop-up window to select the file with the app opens.
7.
Select the file with the app. Make sure it is the .tar file.
8. Click Open.

A pop-up message with the progress bar for the installation process appears for the duration of the installation .
After the app has been successfully installed, the corr
esponding message is displayed in the status field and the
app interface is shown in the
AppManager
tab:
