Cleaning windows and roof lights
The windows and roof lights of your motorhome are double-glazed and made of acrylic glass. They are
sensitive to scratches and can become brittle and crack if cleaned incorrectly.
CAUTION
Risk of damage to the windows and roof lights due to incorrect cleaning and aggressive
cleaning agents!
●
Never rub while dry.
●
Never use glass cleaner, alcohol, cleaning agents containing ethanol or chemical
cleaning agents.
●
Do not apply a de-icing spray.
●
Only use cleaning agents suitable for acrylic glass purchased from a specialist
dealer.
A film can form between the panes if there is extreme humidity; this will disappear again when the
weather is dry.
Note:
The oxygen inside the motorhome is consumed by people breathing and by use of
the hob burners. Ensure that there is a constant exchange of air by opening windows or
roof lights. Air out your motorhome from time to time, even if you are not using it.
11.1.5
Window contact
The window in the sleeping area may be equipped with a contact that switches off the heating when the
window is opened. This prevents combustion gases the are emitted from the air intake/outlet element
from entering into the vehicle. (See section 8
