3.1
General safety instructions
For your own safety and the safety of the persons travelling with you, always comply with the following
instructions.
WARNING
Risk of accident!
●
Never leave children alone in the motorhome.
●
Never reverse without having a second person to direct you.
●
Only travel with the motorhome when it is in a technically fault-free condition.
●
Ensure not to exceed the gross vehicle weight and the maximum axle weights
(see vehicle registration papers).
●
Familiarise yourself with the escape routes and emergency exits.
●
Keep all escape routes clear.
WARNING
Risk of suffocation due to insufficient ventilation!
●
Always ensure that there is sufficient ventilation inside the motorhome.
●
The openings for forced ventilation, e.g. the ventilation slots on the windows and
roof lights, must never be covered, draped with any type of material or blocked in
any other way.
3.2
Fire protection
For your own safety and the safety of the persons travelling with you, always comply with the following
instructions.
WARNING
Risk of burns from fire and explosion!
●
Always keep flammable materials away from the hob, switched-on light units and
radiant heaters.
●
Do not use any external appliances such as portable radiators, radiant heater or
cookers in the motorhome.
●
Do not make any changes to the electrical or LPG components.
●
Have all repairs carried out by an authorised professional workshop.
●
Always have a dry powder fire extinguisher as per ISO 7165 ready to hand in your
motorhome.
●
Have the functioning of the fire extinguisher checked regularly.
