V1.00/EN/00741192/2021-03-30 [IPC 300]
IGBT short circuit
IGBT defective
Note:
Monitoring only works when the load resis-
tance is so low that
≥
2% of the power
controller nominal current (max. load cur-
rent) is flowing.
The device must be returned to JUMO
for repair.
- Return the device
Pre-alarm
High temperature
Device temperature is higher than 100 °C
(Excess temperature)
- Ensure adequate ventilation or
provide for additional cooling
- Reduce load current
- Use power controller with high-
er maximum load current
Limitation
high temperature
Device temperature is higher than 105 °C.
Device is too hot, output level is reduced!
(Limited power due to excess temperature)
Mains voltage
too low
DC intermediate circuit voltage is not with-
in specified tolerance range

Chapter 10.1 "Voltage supply, load
current"
- Check configured nominal volt-
age

Chapter 5.1.2 "Power controller"
Wire break
Current input
Input current too small for the set measur-
ing range.
- Check wiring for wire breaks and
reverse polarity.
- Check upstream devices (con-
trollers)
Wire break
Voltage input
Input voltage too small for the set measur-
ing range.
- Check wiring for wire breaks and
reverse polarity.
- Check upstream devices (con-
trollers)
Bus error
No connection to Modbus master or Mod-
bus master is inactive.
- Check wiring and master device
(PLC).
Note: This error message can be sup-
pressed by setting the device address
to "0".
SiC voltage reserve
used up
This message appears when the
power required by the setpoint specifica-
tion can no longer be reached with the load
present.
- Replace SiC heating element
v
Inhibit
(inhibit input)
The firing pulse inhibit has been triggered
via a PLC level.
No power from the power controller.
- Change control direction config-
uration
v
Peak current too
high -> Inhibit
The current monitoring module has sig-
naled an excessive peak current. To pre-
vent destruction of the device, a firing
pulse inhibit is briefly triggered.
- Check wiring of the load circuit.
- If the error message is shown
permanently, please contact the
JUMO Service team!
Inhibit
(external input)
The firing pulse inhibit has been triggered
via an interface.
