2 Mounting
3 mA. If, due to the load, the leakage current is greater than 3.5 mA, a fixed
connection is required for protection against dangerous shock voltages (see
also EN 50178).
Electromagnetic compatibility conforms to the standards and regulations cited
in the technical data.

Where possible, load lines and lines for control inputs should be routed so
that they are isolated.
Positioning of
the choke
h
The choke should be installed close to the device.
Connection
h
Check the data given on the nameplate (voltage supply to the control elec-
tronics, voltage supply to the power section, load voltage, and load current)
against the system data.

Check the adaptation of the setpoint inputs.
PE connection/
FB connection
h
A direct protection conductor connection must be provided between the
IPC and the PE conductor of the supply network. Connect to the PE con-
nection terminal
of the IPC 300.

If necessary, interference emission of the IPC 300 can also be minimized by
function equipotential bonding. The function equipotential bonding is con-
nected to the FB connection terminal of the IPC 300.

Choke connec-
tion

The choke is connected to terminals C and 1C.
Voltage supply
h
Connect the voltage supply for the control electronics at terminals L+ and
L-.
h
Connect the voltage supply of the power section to terminals U and N(V).
Load connec-
tion
h
The load is connected to terminals D and 1D.
h
The line between the load and the IPC 300 should be as short as possible
and not exceed 50 m.
An isolation switch must be installed upstream of the power controller to be able
to disconnect the device from the mains voltage on all poles prior to starting in-
ternal work!
The connection must only be carried out by qualified personnel!
