1. Position the sprocket onto the crankshaft (timing mark out) with the timing slot aligned with the timing
pin.
2. Using Special Tool 8452 (1, 2), install the crankshaft sprocket until it is fully seated onto the crankshaft.
3. Install the timing chain. See

NOTE:
Be careful not to damage the crankshaft surface during crankshaft sprocket
installation.
