Set the outlet selector dial (1) to the " " position.
Set the air selector lever (6) to the " " position.
Turn the temperature control dial (5) to a right side position (high-temperature position)
according to your preference. For defogging in the summer, set the temperature control
dial (5) to any preferred position.
Adjust the fan speed control dial (3) as necessary.
If your vehicle is equipped with an air conditioning system, using the dehumidifying
effect of the system is very effective for defogging.

NOTE
• Do not use the maximum cooling position when operating the air conditioning
system with the outlet selector dial (1) set to the " " position. The outside
surface of the windshield and windows will fog up, which leads to poor frontal
visibility.
