CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS
Operating Conditions of the ELK
The ELK operates when all the following
conditions are met.
• When the power mode is "ON"
(models with passive entry and start
system) or the starter switch is in the
"ON" position (models without passive
entry and start system).
• When driving at a vehicle speed of
approximately 60 km/h (37 MPH) to
130 km/h (80 MPH)
• When the gearshift lever is not in the
"R" position (manual transmission
model), or the selector lever is
not in the "R" position (automatic
transmission model).
• The BSM OFF indicator light is off
