CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS

NOTE

• Even if the idling stop system was

deactivated, once the engine is

stopped, the idling stop system

returns to the activated status the

next time the engine is started.

To deactivate the idling stop system, press

the idling stop system OFF switch.

When the idling stop system OFF switch

is pressed, the idling stop system is

deactivated and the idling stop system OFF

indicator light comes on.

When the idling stop system OFF switch

is pressed again, the idling stop system is

reactivated.

If you press the idling stop system OFF

switch while the engine is stopped by

the idling stop system, the engine stop is

canceled, and the engine is restarted. At

this time, the idling stop system indicator

light will come on.
