PRE-DRIVING OPERATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS
NOTE
• The battery life varies depending on how the remote control unit is used.
As a guide, in models with passive entry and start system, battery life is
approximately 1 to 2 years. Also, significant wasting may occur if strong radio
waves are continually received. Do not place the remote control unit near
appliances such as televisions or computers.
• The battery has reached its end of life when the remote control unit works
intermittently or does not work at all. Replace the battery as soon as this
happens.
• The warning mark (an exclamation mark in an equilateral triangle) printed on
the remote control unit or indicated on the label attached to the remote control
unit is intended to alert the user to the presence of important instructions in the
owner's manual or workshop manual.
• Please comply with the collection system available in your country for the
disposal of old batteries. In addition, take special care to prevent any danger to
children.
This symbol [crossed-out wheeled bin] provided in Directive 2006/66/EC of the
European Parliament and of the Council indicates separate collection of waste
batteries in the European Union countries.
