PPPoE configuration Description for ISP
Service ID
= Specifies the service for the PPPoE connection. Your ISP
should provide you with the Service ID. If not, enter
NULL.
User ID
= Enter the user name for the PPPoE connection.
User Password
= Enter the password for the PPPoE connection
AutoConnect
= If AutoConnect were enabled, system will automatically
connect to your ISP when the system boots up.
IdleTimeOut
= Specifies the number of minutes that the connection is
idle before the device terminates the connection. A value
of 0 disables this function and the connection is never
terminated.
Authentication
= Select the authentication method: Password
Authentication Protocol (PAP) or Challenge Handshake
Authentication Protocol (CHAP). CHAP provides more
security than PAP.
PPP MTU Size
= The maximum allowable packet
size
