Using the SmartLAN/G

The event-related e-mail sent to the user via the SmartLAN/G board must be
programmed entirely by the installer.
Below is an example of an e-mail associated with a “Valid Code” event.

Access the web-server
The security of the connection with the computer is guaranteed by integrated
cryptography. The security of the connection of mobile-phone devices is
guaranteed by the SSL protocol used for HTTPS connections.
Following is a description of the method of access to the interface which allows
remote management of the control panel.
1. Type in the IP address on the navigation bar of the browser. If you wish to
use HTTPS protocol, simply add the letter “s” to the “http” prefix (for
example: “http://192.168.1.92” would become “https://192.168.1.92”).
2. The control panel will open a page similar to the one opposite; type in
“System user”, “System password” (supplied by your installer) and your
user code PIN.
If you type the installer code, this will be accepted only if the Teleservice is
enabled (paragraph
5-4 Activations
).
3. Press
to start the connection.
Please note that the SmartLAN/G board is capable of managing one connection at
a time. Therefore, if another user is already connected to the control panel,
access will be denied and the following message will be shown: “
Too many
connections
”.
Access will be denied in the following cases:
•
the entered PIN is not recognized
•
the entered PIN does not belong to any partition
•
the entered PIN is not enabled
•
the entered PIN is associated with a timer and the timer concerned is OFF.
•
The “Internet Access” option from the Activations section in the User menu is
disabled
