1. Check level of service processor
firmware. If not the latest, apply
update.

4BA00826 Service processor cannot call home. 1. Check the modem configuration in
the service processor menus.
2. Check the modem physical
connection to the system unit.
3. Verify (with a conventional
telephone) that the telephone line
is an active analog line.
4. Replace the modem.
5. Replace the system board.

4BA00827 Flash update diskette fail.
1. Copy the flash update image onto
a new, formatted diskette and
retry.
2. Verify that the flash update image
is correct for this system unit.
3. Replace the diskette drive.
4BA00828 Flash update (CRC) checksum fail. Copy the flash update image onto a
newly formatted diskette and retry.
4BA00829 Bad system firmware. Replace the system board.

4BA00831 Bad service processor firmware image. 1. Unplug the power cable, wait a
few minutes, plug in the power
cable and reboot the system unit.

operator panel. If there are any
progress codes, refer to their
description.
