i-SmartCare 10 Blood Gas Analyzer
Cleaning
Caution
•
To prevent infection, please wear protective clothes and gloves while
cleaning.
•
Perform routine cleaning of the analyzer.
•
Use 0.5 % sodium hypochlorite solution to clean the analyzer
•
Do not spray cleaning solution directly on the analyzer.
•
When using cleaning solution, make sure it does not get inside ofthe
analyzer.
•
Do not apply too much force when wiping the analyzer’s screen
•
Dispose any biohazard materials after cleaning in accordance with the
lab’s guidelines and procedure.
Cleaning procedure
1. Use 0.5% sodium hypochlorite solution.
Note:
Commercial bleach contains approximately 5% sodium
hypochlorite.
Add water in 1:9 ratio to dilute the solution before use.
2. Soak a soft cloth in the cleaning solution.
3. Clean the sampler cover, screen, and other contaminated parts of the
analyzer with the cloth.
4. Wait for 10 minutes.
5. Wipe all surfaces with a wet cloth (water).
6. Finally, wipe the unit with a dry cloth.
